US-brokered 'pilot zones' launched in southern Lebanon for Israeli withdrawal

The US State Department announced the launch of 'pilot zone' operations in three southern Lebanese villages (Froun, Srifa, Zawtar al-Gharbiya) as part of a trilateral framework agreement for Israeli military withdrawal and Lebanese army security control.
