EU Parliament Backs Memorial for 1974 Cyprus Sexual Violence Victims

The European Parliament's Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality approved an amendment to fund a monument commemorating rape victims of the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
