MontenegroChallenges in Postal Service: Empty Mailboxes and Shortage of Postmen
Despite often empty mailboxes, postmen continue their routes, but finding good postmen is difficult, especially on the coast, where fewer young people choose the profession.
Background
Across many developed nations, postal services face increasing challenges due to declining mail volumes and an aging workforce. This trend is exacerbated by a competitive job market and a decrease in young people entering traditional public service roles, impacting service delivery and efficiency.
