TürkiyeTurkish F-35 Jets Awaiting Delivery in US Since 2019
New photos show F-35 jets with Turkish flag emblems waiting for delivery to Turkey at a US Air Force Base since 2019, highlighting an ongoing dispute.
Background
Turkey's purchase of Russian S-400 missile defense systems led to its removal from the F-35 fighter jet program by the United States. This decision, made in 2019, halted the delivery of F-35 jets to Turkey and remains a point of contention between the two NATO allies.
