First Locally Acquired West Nile Virus Case in Netherlands Since 2020
The Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) has reported the first locally acquired human case of West Nile virus in the Netherlands since 2020, detected in a blood donor in Utrecht province.
